Project: 152 London Road, Headington

At 152 London Road, we sought to maximize the site’s potential through thoughtful landscape design. Fronting onto the London Road in Headington and located adjacent to a primary school. A low brick wall meanders through rain gardens, creating seasonal interest, filtered views, and opportunities for informal play and engagement.

To the rear, a landscaped courtyard offers seating and ornamental planting, providing a calm retreat from the busy high street. This space also defines areas for bike storage and vehicle access. Key features include:

  • Rain gardens
  • Varied seating options
  • Covered bike storage
  • Green walls and roof
  • Feature tree within the courtyard
