Project: 95 Park Drive
Located on Milton Park, this new development for MEPC proves high quality purpose built laboratory space on the site of a distribution centre. Focused on creating a sense of well-being within the working environment, the building design was complemented by contemporary planting chosen for its seasonal interest and nectar provision. To the west of the building species rich grassland with mown paths through it encourage connectivity with the wider site.
Contemporary paving blocks with a granite aggregate surface complement the dark grey window casements and canopy on the building.
Through close collaboration with the design and contractor team, this project was delivered within a tight budget and programme, achieving BREEAM ‘Excellence’ whilst also being shortlisted for the ‘Project of the Year’ 2018 OxPROP Awards.
