Project: Chineham Gate
Landscape Architects on this innovative project designing both internal and external courtyards. The enclosed breakout spaces included clipped and shaped trees creating attractive and functional seating areas.
Metal edged grass terraces were used to create clean lines to the front of the building. Sensitive levels ensured that the existing mature oak tree wasn’t disturbed and became a feature of the new facade.
Choosing a contemporary slender block for the frontage paving enhancing the modern architecture and highly glazed form of the building. Contrasting colours were chosen to demark spaces removing the requirement for painted lines.
The project was completed in 9 months and transformed a tired and unoccupied office building and frontage.
