Project: Bicester Motion Experience Quarter, Former RAF Bicester
ASA have been working with Bicester Motion to realise their vision for a vibrant future for the former RAF Bicester, promoting public access and offering a collection of inclusive visitor experiences unlike any other destination in the country.
Providing specialist Landscape and Visual Assessment and design advice; ASA has worked together with Oxford-based Heritage Consultants Nick Worlledge Associates to provide a landscape and heritage-led approach, together with the rest of the planning and design team to gain a positive planning determination in January 2022.
The Experience Quarter will be a collection of automotive, aviation and cycling brands, creating a sustainable future for a significant heritage asset.
This new hub will provide unrivalled facilities, including an active airfield, driving training and handling tracks as well as walking and cycling trails.
Placing the focus firmly on the provision of sustainable transport solutions, the green open spaces and landscape will encourage the entire family to get outdoors and explore the Bicester Motion site.
The Experience Quarter will be formed as a cluster of high-quality buildings that will house world-leading brands across the Motion sector with each building providing views across the airfield, towards the vibrant activities taking place in the air and on the tracks, visitors can enjoy wings and wheels technology.
