We undertake landscape and visual assessments for small and large commercial developments. We have particular expertise in residential developments.

We advise clients on the optimum strategy in terms of landscape mitigation of adverse impacts and the best means of presenting the issues. We have the latest computer analysis tools and visualisation techniques to enable us to provide state of the art supporting evidence for planning applications and Environmental Statements.

We are able to provide expert advice covering all aspects of ecological survey and assessment and tree surveys and reports.

Commercial – Development / Business Parks

We have a range of experience in the commercial sector, producing landscape assessments for projects as diverse as Wind turbines, derelict farm building to offices in open countryside and power stations. Our particular expertise in the landscape and development within business parks means our perspective and understanding of their operations can provide valuable insight preparing both LVIA’s and developing masterplans.

Residential – Developer / Private

We have experience of housing sites at a strategic assessment level, medium and large site developments (up to 2400 units) and individual house assessments. We have acted as lead designers guiding the approach to the layout, form and style of developments in order to produce distinctive developments with minimum visual impacts on surrounding landscapes (sometimes designated) and visual receptors.

On behalf of all the family thank you so much for making your skills and experience available to us. We have no doubt that without you and Lisa Foster we would have failed to persuade the Council and Inspector of the absurdity of the proposal.

Annie and I were impressed by your report: its clarity, professionalism and relevance were appreciated. You appeared personally to share our view on the illogicality of the proposed location of the turbine.

It was also a pleasure dealing with you and we would definitely recommend you and your firm to others and use your services again.

Nigel T, Nosterfield Wind Farm

ASA Landscape Architects provided a first-class service for us and delivered a convincing and well-argued Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment for our planning application. They were accommodating and understanding of the need to revisit and revise earlier drafts on more than one occasion on account of receipt of new information and did this without delay. We were very impressed by their ‘can-do’ attitude and would have no hesitation in using them again or recommending them to others.
